Macleay Island is only a three-minute free waterbus ride from Lamb Island, and its hyperbolically named hotel, ‘Pub Paradise’, is only a hundred-or-so metres up the hill from the jetty (and, even more considerately, an easier hundred-or-so metres back down to the jetty when it’s time to wend one’s way home after observing the approach of one’s waterbus from the pub’s bay-overlooking deck).
So anyway, yesterday Pub Paradise held what they call a ‘Sunday Sesh’, with their bistro open from 11:30am, salsa, and live music from 2pm, and everyone had a great afternoon. As per below:
