No, they’re dragonflies. For the last few days, maybe twenty or more of them have been hovering in the same place just above our courtyard like little helicopters – and for all I know, possibly humming ‘The Ride Of The Valkyries’ at a pitch too high for the human ear to hear. And up close, they look more like WWI biplanes. Maybe humming ‘Mademoiselle From Armentières’?
