In mainland real estate speak, ‘water glimpses’ usually means something like a distant view of a tiny segment of blue if you stand on a chair and lean way out of a window and twist your neck enough to see past the block of apartments between you and the actual water. But although most estate agents are tarred with the same hyperbole (indeed, our local agents aren’t beyond extreme camera zooms to imply bayside proximity), a ‘water glimpse’ usually means something more substantial on Lamb Island. And given the relatively low price of near-water property here, our water glimpses are cheaper than mainland ones – especially when you’re not likely to run up chiropractic bills from trying to see them.
