Going by media reports, it seemed like half the Australian population were at Boxing Day Sales today, buying whatever they could get their hands on cheap, whether they needed/wanted it or not. But, as they say, you had to be early, or miss out. And that was especially true in the case of our Lamb Island Convenience Store where, as per its usual public holiday practice, the biggest (okay, only) Boxing Day reduction was in the trading hours, slashed by more than half from its regular open-all-day to only 7am till noon. By the time I got there for the shot below, everything had gone. Well at least, the staff had.
