What’s this house worth?

I’ve mentioned before on this blog how, because Lamb Island is something of a secret as far as the rest of the world goes, property here is in little demand and therefore ridiculously cheap. The house above is a perfect example. It sits on an acre of land, and after a fair while on the market, it’s just been put under contract for much less than an absolute dump would bring in most city suburbs. So here’s a question for amateur property valuers: What’s it going for?

Answer: Presumably somewhere south of its asking price of $279,000.
