Their theory is that if they don’t move, we won’t see them.

These two curlews were pretending not to be there while catching some sun this morning beside the trunk of a Jacaranda tree in our front garden. (And yeah, I know, the lawn needs mowing.)

And an hour later, they’d decided that our front path would be a good place to not be noticed.
