A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

As dumbed-down for TV, take two. Oh, and then take three.

Back in July, I grumped about a dumbed-down segment on ‘Queensland Weekender’ about the arts scene on Lamb Island’s neighbouring Macleay Island. I’ve since learned that a similar program called ‘The Great South East’ had earlier featured some Macleay Island stuff (along with what was probably a contra-deal about a Karragarra Island holiday rental)It’s fairly ordinary, but you can watch it here

Update, Monday Oct 16, take three: Yesterday, Sunday, ‘The Great South East’ was again on the bay, this time visiting Lamb Island’s Pretty Produce (which I’ve posted about here). See the segment here.
