A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

The Macleay Island arts scene, as dumbed-down for TV.

I posted a while ago about our neighbouring Macleay Island’s burgeoning arts scene, and now it’s been officially endorsed by a low-budget Brisbane weekend television program. Mind you, as a grumpy old elitist from an era in which television presenters sounded like they knew what they were talking about, I think the segment would have a lot more artsy credibility if the presenter had come across less like a bogan hairdressing trainee addressing pre-schoolers. But anyway, click here to watch it.
