Green and green. On real green.

This is the Lamb Island Recreation Club (and our community ‘Pioneer Hall’ on the left), seen from the big expanse of turfed area that’s part of what I call the island’s ‘recreation precinct’. Until late last year, the building was a kinda pale-ish biscuit colour, but then the members painted it green and green. Personally, I think it’s a bit garish, but the club got the paint cheap – and for a small members-run organisation, that’s probably far more important than my effete opinion that nobody does real green like Mother Nature.
