A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

Same old same new.

Back in October, I posted about the curlew chicks that had pretty-well reached adulthood. Which was something of a relief at the time, because they seem so vulnerable when they’re tiny that we tend to worry about them making it. Whew, we thought back then – now we can relax. But not so. For the past couple of weeks, we’ve had yet another pair of curlew chicks to fret about, hoping each new morning that they’re going to turn up again safe and sound. Who said living on Lamb Island was stress-free?
