A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

Parking area.

Just beside the Lamb Island barge/boat ramp, this small beach serves kinda nicely for locals to park their boats, and it’s especially handy if said boats are tenders for yachts on nearby swing moorings. Even more conveniently, our jetty carpark is just a few steps away to the left of this picture.

Although note that the upturned dingy has two wheels bolted to the stern so that the owner can trundle it the few hundred metres up the main drag to his home. Lamb Island’s that kind of place.
