A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

So much for the Winter Solstice.

Huh? After the shortest day of the year on Sunday, we were supposed to be heading into longer days on the way back to Summer. And yet yesterday on the bay turned out to be cold and overcast with occasional showers. But maybe it was worth it to see this rainbow between Russell Island and Straddie.

As for today, things aren’t any better. Here’s part of our courtyard, minus us soaking up some sun.
