A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

Serious fishing.

It’s not just crustaceans that Lamb Islanders get for free (see yesterday’s post). Or even mangoes. We also make serious savings on our fresh fish too, being well-skilled in fishing techniques like holding our catches really close to the camera so that they look bigger than they actually are.

But when it comes to seriously big-time stuff, our island locals are literally amateurs compared to the guys below, shown passing Lamb Island the other afternoon. Mind you, by the time the fish that the professionals catch are retailed, fried, and put on a plate, they cost a whole lot more than nothing.
