Not quite ripe for the plucking.

Lamb Islanders are currently watching and waiting for the fruit on the island’s many publicly-accessible mango trees to be ready to pick and slurp. It’s a kinda fraught and suspenseful time, in that the ones that you’ve decided need just a few more days to be perfect could be harvested in the meantime by someone else less finicky. But if you’re lucky, your patience will bear fruit. And besides, there are more than enough to go around.
