Ex Libris Redland.

Here at Lamblog Central, we’re avid readers of books (as in the ‘old-fashioned’ ink-on-paper page-turnable variety). But in this particular chapter of our lives, if we had to pay retail prices for what we read, we’d have to give up luxuries like food, and maybe even forego basic necessities like cheap white wine. So we’re happy we have access to the Redland City Council’s excellent public library at Victoria Point, where we can load ourselves up with real books for free.

Even better, the Council also runs a smallish branch library on Russell Island, just a free seven-minute waterbus ride from Lamb Island. So if we want specific books, we can request them via the library system’s on-line catalogue and pick them up from there a few days later.
