Yeah, yeah, another post about the curlew chicks.

At the risk of inducing cuteness overload, here’s yet another shot of the curlew chicks, taken yesterday evening, showing how quickly they’re growing as well as how relaxed their parents are getting about our presence as the kids get less vulnerable. At the same time, any morsel of mince we throw directly to the chicks themselves is quickly intercepted by one of the parents, which picks it up in its beak then places it back on the ground/tiles and squeaks to let the chick know it can eat it. And yeah, maybe we’ve seen enough of them on this blog for now.
