Meet the family.

The curlews that I mentioned the other day have calmed down about our presence (magnanimous of them, considering the fact that it’s the adult birds who are seeking us out in search of a free feed for the kids), and I was allowed to get this shot of the whole family in our front garden yesterday. Personally, I think the chicks look more like their father than like their mother, even though I have no idea which is which.
