A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

A scene by any other name would look as good.

If I was Englishly-erudite enough to have used the subjunctive ‘were’ back there, I might’ve also described this as a copse beside a sward. But things being otherwise, I guess it’s just a bunch of trees beside the open recreation area on Lamb Island. And to bring this post all the way down to earth, behind the trees is actually where the council guys keep their stockpile of gravel and stuff for when they work on the island’s roads. But whatever, it looks nice, right?
