A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

They were on foot, but their trip wasn’t pedestrian.

Even though our waterbus service is faster and more comfortable, some people like to travel to our islands by barge even if they‘re not in a car. These two ladies, presumably out for a day of sightseeing, chose to make their trip to Lamb Island at a pleasantly leisurely pace, probably leaning against the side of the barge and watching the bay go by. And there are lots of less-enjoyable ways to spend forty-five minutes on a beautiful Winter’s day.
