A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

One of Lamb Island’s best places to eat.

Okay, so you can get takeaway or table-served food at the Lamb Island Convenience Store, and on Friday and Saturday nights the island’s Recreation Club serves meals, but it’s hard to beat lunch in the privacy of the courtyard beside our house. Mind you, it caters only to a very exclusive clientele. It’s enclosed on three sides, and as a bonus, the fourth side looks out to water views (as shown below).

But as the post title says, it’s only one of Lamb Island’s best places to eat. The other one is our deck. Same exclusive clientele, and an even better water view. What’s on the menu? Who cares?
