The conflicts of parenthood.
curlew is something of a regular around our place, often calling in to beg for mince. Usually, it’s fairly relaxed, but at the moment it has a couple of chicks somewhere, hence the wings half-spread to warn us off at the same time as it’s wanting us to toss it some meat.
