Slip ’n’ sip.
This shot looks across the inlet (Weinam Creek) from where our mainland waterbus jetties are located in Redland Bay. The Pelican Slipways building on the left has always amused me with its roof designed to look like the hull of an upturned boat (especially before they eventually added that dormer window). The café upstairs is called Pelican’s Nautical Treasures, and it’s not a bad place to relax with a coffee, whether you’re having your bottom scraped or not.
