A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

Inconvenience for our convenience.

This is our rates at work, with the public toilets near the Lamb Island jetty getting a new set of steps, plus some new pavement and landscaping. It’s so far taken several weeks, complete with all kinds of safety barriers and the temporary loss of a few car parking spaces, but it’s almost finished. Some of us are wondering whether our local Councillor will officially re-open it via a ceremonial ‘visit’.
