A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

Someone else’s Winter is currently visiting us.

This time of year, we’re usually basking in Autumn/Winter sunshine here on Lamb Island, and not seeing much rain. But hmmm... I’m starting to develop a (probably preposterous) theory that human activity might be having some kind of effect on the climate, y’know? Here's one of our island vehicular barges shot yesterday with rain coming in from the east. North Stradbroke Island is about to disappear, Russell Island is already copping it, and it’ll hit Lamb Island next.
