A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

Our second boat ramp. Some of the time.
This is Lamb Island’s alternative boat ramp, on the other side of the island from the main one. The only hassle with this one is that it’s not usable once the tide gets low, so if you launch from here, you either have to be back fairly soon, or stay out till there’s enough water to come back in again. Which is probably why, as a boat ramp, it makes a really nice peaceful little park.
