A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

Hold the mayo. And guard the meat slices too.
We often like to have lunch out on our deck. And just as often, birds like to invite themselves to join us. This is one of two juvenile magpies who, because their parents brought them around to be fed at our house when they were younger, seem to think that they own the place (although their parents have started trying to drive them off). Yesterday’s lunch was cold roast lamb and salad on home-baked rolls, and this delinquent juvenile seemed more-than-ready to share it.
