A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only limited material on a small island, some posts are being recycled/updated from earlier.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

High on the waterfront. But still relatively low.

One of the raisons d’être for this blog is to promote Lamb Island and encourage more people to consider coming here to live and enrich our community. And the relatively low property prices are part of the island’s appeal. For example, at $785,000, this is the highest-priced house on the island, complete with an acre of land and 160 metres of waterfront. Amateurish listing here.
