A road less travelled.
This is ‘Brook Haven’, a designated road on Lamb Island, a hundred metres long and servicing only three properties. Around half the roads on the island are already bitumen-sealed, and our local Council regularly grades the gravel roads and is gradually sealing them. But I think this heavily wooded little cul-de-sac would lose its charm if it were to be so-called ‘upgraded’.
