A blog about Lamb Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland – a unique little paradise under forty kilometres as the seagull flies from Brisbane CBD.
Because of restraints on time, and let’s face it, only a limited amount of material on a small island, we’re now recycling selected earlier posts.
There’s not a comment facility, but if you have a question, you can use the email gizmo near the bottom of the right-hand column.

If today's Thursday, this must be Tuscany.

It's not. Well, sure, it's Thursday, but it's Lamb Island. A much-travelled friend once remarked that if our Southern Moreton Bay Islands were elsewhere in the world, only millionaires would be able to afford to live here. And speaking of things Mediterranean (as I've just subtly segued to doing), here's one of my favourite houses on Lamb Island. Once a very ordinary small single-storey weekender, it's been brilliantly transformed by its owners into una bella villa isola.
